Please note: All BC Liquor Stores are closed on the following statutory holidays: New Year's Day (January 1), Good Friday (March), and Easter Sunday
(March).
Select BC Liquor Stores are open for convenience on: Easter Monday, Victoria Day (May), Canada Day, BC Day (August), Labour
Day (September), Thanksgiving
(October), Remembrance Day (November 11) and Boxing Day (December 26).

Empty Container Returns
BC Liquor Stores offers a full deposit refund on clean and empty beverage alcohol containers purchased in BC.
Please note that some BC Liquor Stores may only accept a maximum of 24 empty liquor containers per person per day.
If you have a large quantity of empty containers, BC Liquor Store recommends you return them to an authorized Encorp Pacific Return-It
Depots™.
Empty wine, spirit and non-refillable beer, cider or cooler bottles can be returned to any of Encorp Pacific’s authorized Return-It Depot™ for a full deposit refund.
Return-It Depots™ will accept all beverage alcohol containers, however, only full deposit refunds will be given for wine, spirits, imported, non-refillable beer and cooler containers.

Importing and Exporting
The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) is the federal government agency responsible for managing the import and export of people and goods to and from Canada. For information about the specific rules
and regulations related to importing and exporting of beverage alcohol products to and from Canada, please contact the Canadian Border Services Agency at www.cbsa.gc.ca.
Consumers can also speak directly with an LDB representative about importing beverage alcohol products by calling 604-252-3344 or emailing ldbcustoms@bcliquorstores.com.

Liquor Licensing
Establishments that serve liquor are licensed under the Liquor Control and Licensing Act and are regulated by the Liquor Control and Licensing Branch (LCLB).
