Q: Do you sell products on this website?
A: Products are not available for ordering online. You may purchase products featured on this site at BC Liquor Stores and agency stores. However, product selection and availablity vary from store to store. To search for a product and the BC Liquor Stores locations that carry the product, please use our product search and inventory locator (top right corner).
Q: I'm looking for a specific product and wondering if you carry it in stores. Why am I not able to find it (using the product search)? Why don't you carry the product I'm looking for?
A: There is a process by which products are selected and listed for sale in BC Liquor Stores. A product may not be carried in our stores for a variety of reasons, however, if there is a product listed for sale in our stores but is not stocked at your local liquor store, you may speak to your local liquor store manager to discuss arrangements for product transfer. Please note that inter-store product transfers are at the discretion of the manager. Products not listed or carried by BC Liquor Stores may be purchased via our Special Orders program. Q: I am a supplier or manufacturer of beverage alcohol products (not accessories) - wine, beer, spirit - how do I apply to sell my product through BC Liquor Stores?
A: Suppliers outside of Canada are required to have a contractual agreement with a local representative (agent) who represents them on all matters related to importing and distributing their product in the province. Any prospective supplier and agent may obtain a package of information that provides details on rules, regulations, procedures and policies pertaining to the acquisition of products for sale in British Columbia and BC Liquor Stores. To request a package mailed to you, please send an e-mail with your mailing address to ldbagentinfo@bcliquorstores.com or complete the contact us feedback form.
Q: I am a manufacturer/distributor/supplier of beverage alcohol accessory products (e.g., corkscrews) and would like to know how I can sell my product in BC Liquor Stores?
A: Please contact our Non-Liquor Purchasing Department for further information. Mail to Non-Liquor Purchasing Department, Liquor Distribution Branch, 2625 Rupert Street, Vancouver, B.C., V5M 3T5 or phone 604-252-3000.
Q: How can I find out if a product featured on this website is available at my BC Liquor Store?
A: Please use our product search and inventory locator (click here). You can also click on the product name to access inventory and location information. To use the product search and inventory locator (see top left corner of page, simply enter the product name, UPC or SKU number, and a product detail page will appear that includes inventory availability by region. Clicking on a region and then on a location within the region will provide you with inventory information by store for that product. Please note that, as the data is updated once daily, we recommend you call the liquor store in advance to verify availability.
Q: Where do I find out what jobs are available within BC Liquor Stores (stores, head office and distribution centres) and how I can apply?
