VANCOUVER – BC Liquor Stores is releasing 2008 Bordeaux wines on October 1, 2011. This release will be of interest to customers, aficionados and collectors who are interested in purchasing some of the world’s finest wines.

Each year the wines of Bordeaux are released globally in the fall, three years after the vintage. BC Liquor Stores is proud to feature a wide selection of these wines in its stores each year.

This year, more than 3,500 cases from nearly 140 wineries, including many prominent Bordeaux wines, will be available to customers on a first-come, first-served basis.

The formal release event takes place at the 39th & Cambie Signature BC Liquor Store in Vancouver, where some customers are expected to line-up in the early morning.

Media Opportunity: Media including TV crews, reporters and photographers are welcome to visit the 39th & Cambie Signature BC Liquor store location in Vancouver. Customers are expected to line-up early morning and the Portfolio Manager for Old World Wines, Barbara Philip, Master of Wine, will be available for comment.
