Mojito

cup (130 ml)
basil or mint leaves
1/2
lime, quartered and squeezed

oz (60 ml)
rum

tbsp (30 ml)
simple syrup (Equal parts of sugar and water simmered until sugar is dissolved. Cool and then use.)

oz (240 ml)
soda water (6-8 oz)
DIRECTIONS
- Gently press the basil or mint with the lime and simple syrup in a glass.
- Add the rum, plenty of ice and top with soda water.
- Stir and garnish with lime or herbs.
