Mulled Wine
INGREDIENTS

cup (130 ml)
aperitif (e.g. Dubonnet, Lillet, Cinzano) a few whole cloves)

cup (130 ml)
brown sugar (optional) or to taste

cinnamon sticks for garnish

cup (750 ml)
dry, fruity red wine

fresh fruit (apples, oranges, lemons)

cup (250 ml)
tea or apple juice (optional)
DIRECTIONS
- Place all ingredients in a pot and heat until warm. Do not boil.
- Keep on low heat and serve with a cinnamon stick.
- Note: For a sweeter, less-spirited wine, include the brown sugar and tea or apple juice according to your taste.
