Cranberry Fruit Conserve

INGREDIENTS

apple, peeled and chopped

oz (360 ml)
bag of fresh cranberries

cup (190 ml)
chopped walnuts
1 3/4
cup (440 ml)
cups granulated sugar
1
lemon, zest and juice
1
orange, zest and juice
3/4
cup (190 ml)
raisins

DIRECTIONS

  1. In a saucepan, cook cranberries, sugar and 1 cup (250 mL) water on low heat, about 5 minutes.
  2. Stir in apple, zests and juice and cook for 15 more minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in raisins and nuts.
  4. Cool and serve with slices of baked ham.
