Social Responsibility Campaigns
One of the ways we demonstrate our commitment to the communities we serve is through a number of successful charitable initiatives in our BCLIQUOR stores. The LDB and its employees believe in giving back to their communities and throughout the year, the LDB partners with our customers to participate in a variety of programs and campaigns that benefit people throughout British Columbia and beyond.

Food Banks BC
Support BC Food Banks
BCLIQUOR helps communities raise funds for their local food banks. All funds raised will go to Food Banks BC and be distributed to food banks in communities where the funds were raised.
Twice a year customers can visit any BCLIQUOR store and donate $1 or more to help provide more than 125,000 meals every month to those in need, where 1 out of every 3 is a child and 1 out of every 10 food banks users is a senior. Thanks to BCLIQUOR customers, last year raised over $1.2 Million and $6 Million since 2020, providing food to those who need it most.
Thank you for your support and helping to make a difference.

Community Fundraising
In support of fundraising in the community and, in part, responsible use, the BCLIQUOR Support Dry Grad initiative helps local communities raise funds for alcohol-free high school graduation celebrations.
Every spring, BCLIQUOR customers are invited to support dry grad (alcohol-free events for graduating high school students) celebrations by donating $1 or more to support high schools in their community organize alcohol-free graduation celebrations. All money collected is passed on to local school districts.
In 2024, 56 school districts and the Federation of Independent Schools participated, which represents more than 270 high schools throughout the province. Thanks to BCLIQUOR customers, more than $273,000 was raised during the BCLIQUOR Dry Grad 2024 Campaign. All proceeds are forwarded to volunteer, school-based Dry Grad Committees to add to the total of their fundraising efforts.

Do You Proud
As part of the LDB’s continued commitment to being an inclusive employer representative of the people of British Columbia, BCL holds an annual Do You Proud campaign in support of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.
Do You Proud tells the stories of the people who make up the LDB community and celebrates the way they do their communities proud. These stories underscore the message behind the campaign: that being proud is about what we do to support each other.
To give back to the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, BCL will also be supporting QMUNITY, B.C.’s 2SLGBTQIA+ resource centre through a month-long fundraiser. In 2024, more than $56,000 was raised for QMUNITY, which enabled them to establish a new stream for youth to access free counselling and support services across the province.

Charitable Fund
Community Fundraising
Thank you for your interest in fundraising at BCLIQUOR (BCL) stores.
The BC Liquor Distribution Branch (LDB) is currently conducting an assessment of its social responsibility campaigns, fundraising, and partnerships as a whole, as part of the development of a larger, organization-wide social impact strategy. Unfortunately, this means that we will be unable to accept requests for point of sale, in-store (collection tins) and store front fundraising activities at this time. Please continue to check our website for any policy updates.
We thank you for your understanding and wish you all the best with your fundraising efforts. If you have any questions, please contact: [email protected].
